DecisionFlip is a collection of free online tools that help you make decisions and generate random results — instantly, in your browser, with no sign-up and no fuss.
Every day, people face small decisions that don't deserve big deliberation: who goes first, which restaurant tonight, which name to pick, what to watch. And builders, teachers, and writers constantly need quick random data — a name, a number, a sample address, a fair shuffle. We built DecisionFlip to make all of that one click away. Today the site offers more than 100 decision spinners, random generators, and picker tools, and we add and refine them based on what people actually search for and use.
Every tool is free and runs instantly. No accounts, no paywalls, no downloads.
Our generators run in your browser. The lists and inputs you type aren't stored on our servers.
Our randomizers use your browser's built-in random number generator for fair, unbiased results.
Phone, tablet, or desktop — every tool is responsive and works without installing anything.
Most DecisionFlip tools are client-side web apps. When you spin a wheel, flip a coin, or generate a name, the work happens locally on your device using JavaScript and the crypto/Math.random APIs your browser already provides. That means results are immediate, work offline once the page has loaded, and don't depend on data you've typed being sent anywhere. Generated sample data — like random addresses, emails, or phone numbers — is fictional and intended for testing, demos, mockups, and creative work, not to represent real people.
We review tools for three things: the result should be correct (a 50/50 coin really is 50/50; a "no repeats" list really has no repeats), the page should be genuinely useful (clear instructions, sensible options, and honest explanations), and it should be fast. When search data or user feedback shows a tool is confusing or missing an option people want, we update it. Tools are improved over time rather than published once and forgotten.
DecisionFlip is an independent project run by a small team that loves simple, well-made web tools. We're not backed by a large company, and we keep the site free by showing unobtrusive ads. If a tool ever gives you a wrong or confusing result, that's a bug we want to fix.
Have an idea for a tool, found a bug, or want to say hello? Email us at hello@decisionflip.com or visit our contact page. Suggestions for new generators are always welcome — many of our tools exist because someone asked for them.
